Dr. Edward Owens - I grew up in a small town in Georgia near Tennessee. I moved to Texas to attend Parker College (a Chiropractic College) and in 1997, I graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
When I graduated my goal was to contact, reach and help as many people as I could with the Chiropractic knowledge and ability I had. Shortly after graduation I moved up here to Washington and started my practice. I have been in practice over 16 years and have seen nearly 10,000 patients to date and I feel that the enthusiastic goal I set early on in my Chiropractic career...is still going strong.
It is still amazing to me after all this time in practice, the quantity of miracles I get to witness with Chiropractic. I was able to restore motion to a young child’s fingers. Two fingers on his hand were chronically clenched shut. After four treatments he was able to give me the “peace” sign and was waving at me. Only a few months ago I was able to help someone with tourettes recover and come off all harmful medications.
On a daily basis I have at least one patient come in incapacitated with a headache, a spasm, low mobility or a common cold and leave completely alleviated or well on the road to recovery. I’ve been able to help hundreds of people come off addictive and symptomatic medications. I’ve had several patients who could not have continued in their professional careers with the amount of pain they were having and after only a weeks of treatment they were back on the job pain free.
