Chiropractic care given regularly during an exercise program can help patients stay active in exercise. 

Quite often people will start an exercise program and then either have an accident and come off the program and stop altogether or shift off the program and do something else. A Chiropractor comes in handy for those doing an exercise program.

"Popping in" once a week or every other week mid one's fitness regimen/routine can help patients become pain free and also correct things that may have gone wrong.

Incorrectly using exercise equipment can cause one to throw out his/her back, neck, hips, etc and that makes exercise become something very grueling. 

Another good thing about seeing the Chiropractor between workouts is that he is usually going to be quite skilled in showing you how to best perform the exercise routines you are doing. He can even help you with your form so you don't re-injure yourself. The Chiropractor's understanding of the muskuloskeletal structure of the body (nerves, muscles, bones, joints, tendons, etc) can help him show you the ideal way to do an exercise -- even if the doctor's never done that exercise before. 

You'll be surprised how much your Chiropractor knows - his schooling is intense and very broad when it comes to bodies and structure.
