Usually (98% of the time) you do not need a referral.

Some patients have certain insurance regulations that state they must get a referral before being eligible for coverage.  Sometimes this is the case for Medicare or Medicaid patients.

The best solution is to just show up to the Chiropractor's office and he/she'll inform you on whether you need a referral or not.
