Who would it be better to go see a massage therapist or a Chiropractor for knots in your back?

Who would it be better to go see a massage therapist or a Chiropractor for knots in your back?

The answer is both.

Knots are usually due to the muscles seizing up.  The muscles seize up due to the joints in the spine or other regions pinching the nerves of the body.

The massage therapist can handle muscles very well. The Chiropractor can handle the pinched nerves in the body very well.

Try the massage therapist and see if that handles it fully. If not then see the Chiropractor. Or vice versa...see the Chiropractor first then the Massage therapist.  The Chiropractor is going to be able to address the root cause of the knots forming and correct the skeletal structure so the body works like it should and doesn't have "knots".  The Massage therapist is going to be able to work the knots out and bring some very much needed immediate relief.

I frequently work with massage therapists in treating patients with "knots" in their back as these two things combined can quickly and efficiently bring about a "no knots" situation.
