Some Great Foods to Help With Backpain

Although there are no foods you can eat to make your back one hundred percent better there are foods you can eat that decrease inflammation, increase antioxidants, and boost your overall immune system as well as increase your enzyme levels.  Eating great foods along with receiving regular Chiropractic care will dramatically decrease your back pain.

1. Fish - Many types of fish contain Omega Fatty Acids and other natural compounds that reduce inflammation in the joints and muscles and reduce some types of pain.

2. Berries - Most all berries contain high levels of antioxidants. Antioxidants can give a big boost in the body's healing process and actually shore the body up against infections, disease and illness.

3. Tumeric - This spice can do wonders for pain reduction. 

4. Garlic - This is one of my favorite foods used to fight a cold. I have been known to chug 2000-3000mgs of Garlic tablets when fighting a cold. It's amazing how the body seems to "fire up" with garlic. Garlic can lower cholesterol and improve lymphatic flow and it can be used to even bring one's blood pressure down temporarily.

5. Tea - Green tea in particular has a very good antioxidant effect.

6. Ginger - Ginger is a great food and can help fight against nauea, indigestion and heart irregularities and is a great anti-inflammatory.

7. Water - Water is a food and it's healing powers are great. The spine needs fluid to work and the body needs fluid to work. A shortage of water will create back pain, achey joints, etc. Lots of back pain? Drink lots of water. It's cheap and plentiful and your body loves it.

A body in pain frequently is also malnourished. There are so many herbs, vegetables, fruits, spices, etc that contain pain reducing powers. This is merely a very partial list. There are very thick books which contain all kinds of information on the healing powers of foods and those should be purchased.
