How do I know who is the best Chiropractor?

How do I know who is the best Chiropractor?

1. The best Chiropractor in your area will tend to have many favorable reviews on Google, Yahoo, Bing, Yelp, Judy's List, Yellow Pages, etc.  Take time and research Chiropractors on these on-line listings.

2. The best Chiropractor is likely to offer you a low, affordable introductory rate for you to try them out.  The best Chiropractor knows that you'll like the experience and return and doesn't have to worry about getting what they can from you on the first visit because you may never return.

3. The best Chiropractor is likely to be upfront and put all the information out there that you may need to make an informed and intelligent decision.  The best Chiropractor doesn't mind exposing who they are, what they are about and what they can do for you.  Look for videos on their website, on Youtube, blog information, facebook pages, etc and if the doctor makes an effort to convey who they are and what they are about...they likely are the best.

4. The best Chiropractor keeps an open book with you and will quickly and willingly answer your questions as best as he can.  Most Chiropractors are not interested in cheating you or making your life harder.  If you have questions the best Chiropractor will make every effort to answer those questions in an honest and forthright manner.  Not all the answers a doctor will have will be answers you want to hear but the best Chiropractor will tell you what you need to hear.

5. The best Chiropractor will tend to have a neat and tidy office.  The condition of his office shows you the condition of his mind.  If his mind is orderly, sane and reasonable...his office space will be the same in appearance.  If the office is messy and disorderly...then that is most likely how you will be treated (with indifference and lack of attention).

6. The best Chiropractor will tend to have the best staff.  If the staff are rude and curt then you can expect that the doctor either (1) doesn't consider the patient experience priority one or (2) the doctor is poor at judging people or (3) the doctor is rude, curt or disrespectful to the staff or is just a complete pushover.  If the staff is friendly and warm then you can expect the doctor to likely be the same way.

7. The best Chiropractor usually has tenure in the community and many people around will know of him.  If you check around...you will find someone who likely has been to this Chiropractor and thus you can speak to them direct about that doctor.  Staff and customers at healthfood stores, vitamin outlets, massage clinics, etc will usually know of the Chiropractor and can give you firsthand info on what that doctor is like.

8. The best Chiropractor will have a staff that tend to be truthful and honest and upfront about their opinion of the doctor.  Ask them outright questions like, "do you like him", "do patients enjoy his company", "is he a nice person", etc and you can judge by the lack of hesitancy, emotional response how the doctor is with people. One can also outright ask the staff at the clinic if they get adjustments from the doctor - if they don't then you best stay away.

9. Firsthand experience on your first patient visit will also be a good indicator of whether you have the best doctor for you or not.  If you just don't "gel" with the doctor...then they are not the best option for you as a patient...try someone else.  Your doctor will release your paperwork and forms to anyone you authorize as long as your bill is paid up.
