How long until my neck pain goes away while seeing a Chiropractor?

You should start to experience some obvious neck pain relief after your first visit. If the neck pain has been chronically present for many, many years or is there due to a major traumatic accident (like being rear-ended in an auto accident) the pain may take multiple visits (5 or more) before improvement is seen.

Most patients however, notice an instant relief of pain after only one visit. If a patient with neck pain has been in twice and still says the pain hasn't gone away, at all, I am usually very surprised. 3-4 visits with no relief---I usually send the patient for a detailed MRI to ensure there isn't a more serious underlying issue. 

It is my experience that Chiropractic can affect some major improvements with only 1-2 visits.
